Gary Fales and Family

Attorney Gary Fales’ estate planning practice focuses on helping families achieve harmony and security for their future. His considerable legal experience includes wealth preservation, family protection and charitable planning as well as planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. Gary Fales has a broad range of experience in helping families of all types find peace of mind through creative trust planning.

After graduating from law school in 2001, Gary Fales joined KPMG’s New York City Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Practice, where he performed M&A tax due diligence, conducted extensive tax research on complex transactions and wrote technical tax memos and opinion letters, including cross-boarder transactions.

In the spring of 2002, Gary Fales moved back to his hometown of Las Vegas where he began helping families and small businesses plan for incapacity, death and lawsuits. His practice expanded to include offshore asset protection in jurisdictions such as Nevis, Switzerland and the Cook Islands.

Mr. Fales holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a law degree also from Brigham Young where he was a member of the Law Review Board. He is a member of the bar in Connecticut, Idaho, Nevada and New York. Gary is a member of WealthCounsel, a national organization of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals who engage in sophisticated planning techniques.

A frequently requested lecturer for financial planners, CPAs, real estate professionals and other attorneys on a variety of topics including family wealth planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection, Gary enjoys educating his community. Gary has chosen to concentrate on the Asset Protection and Estate Planning area because our society is willing to sue anyone for any reason at any time. It’s time to fight back.

Gary is happily married to his wife, Christine, and they have six wonderful children: Sariah, Nathan, Melissa, Jacob, Rachel and Katie.
